Morgan has completed her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Southern Connecticut State University after earning her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Connecticut. Her education has provided a strong foundation in lifespan development, family systems, and relational therapy, allowing her to approach treatment with both compassion and clinical insight.

Through graduate training and diverse professional experiences, Morgan has developed a deep appreciation for meeting clients where they are. She believes therapy should be a collaborative process that honors each individual’s strengths while creating practical pathways toward lasting change.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Specialized expertise in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, including Harm OCD, Sexual OCD, contamination fears, phobias, and related anxiety disorders. Morgan has extensive experience providing both individual therapy and intensive outpatient treatment for individuals with complex OCD presentations.

With a background in early childhood education and human development, Morgan understands the unique emotional and developmental needs of children and adolescents. She enjoys partnering with families to promote healthy development, improve communication, and strengthen family relationships.

Training & Professional Development

Morgan’s professional background reflects a strong commitment to serving individuals across a variety of settings, from community mental health and public health outreach to child development and family therapy. Before beginning her graduate clinical training, she provided case management, crisis support, and harm reduction services to individuals affected by substance use disorders while educating communities about overdose prevention, harm reduction, and access to treatment resources.

Her clinical perspective is further enriched by research experience at the University of Connecticut’s SHARE Project, where she collaborates with researchers, supports participant engagement, and contributes to studies aimed at improving health outcomes through evidence-based research.

As a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), Morgan remains committed to ongoing professional development and delivering care informed by current research and best clinical practices.
