Megan is currently completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Merrimack College after earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychological Sciences from the University of Connecticut, where she also completed minors in Neuroscience and Human Development & Family Sciences. Her academic training reflects a strong foundation in human behavior, brain science, and lifespan development, allowing her to provide care that is both compassionate and grounded in current psychological research.
Under the supervision of licensed clinician Julian Finnegan, LMFT and others at the Behavioral Wellness Clinic, Megan works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, and other mental health concerns. She believes that therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, individualized, and built upon a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Megan’s clinical training combines graduate-level counseling education with extensive experience in psychological assessment and behavioral health settings. Before beginning her clinical practicum, she worked as a Neuropsychological Evaluator, administering psychological assessments, conducting clinical interviews, collaborating with supervising psychologists, and developing individualized intervention recommendations. This experience strengthened her clinical observation skills and deepened her understanding of diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning.
Her current practicum at Behavioral Wellness Clinic allows her to integrate evidence-based counseling techniques with supervised clinical experience, providing individualized therapy while continuing advanced professional training.
Throughout her education at the University of Connecticut, Megan actively participated in psychological research focused on child development, adversity, prosocial behavior, neuroscience, and behavioral science. Her research experience included literature reviews, participant recruitment, data collection, laboratory procedures, and collaboration with multidisciplinary research teams. This research background reinforces her commitment to delivering therapy informed by current psychological science and evidence-based practice.
