I work with adults navigating OCD, anxiety, PTSD, and the impact of race-based stress and trauma. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University and completed advanced training at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I also completed a postdoctoral fellowship. Over the years, I’ve specialized in the treatment of OCD and related disorders, and I provide supervision and training to other clinicians in this area.
My approach is grounded in evidence-based care, including CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP), while also integrating mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe therapy works best when it’s collaborative and person-centered, so I strive to create a warm, respectful space where clients feel safe to explore their challenges and move toward lasting change.
I am especially passionate about supporting Black and Brown communities and addressing the impact of racism and discrimination on mental health. My research and clinical work have focused on race-based trauma, and I practice from a culturally responsive, social justice-oriented lens. Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring all that North Carolina has to offer.
